What is Storywithkido?
Storywithkido is building interactive children's stories for families to enjoy together. We're preparing narrated picture books with readable captions, story choices, and story-related questions. Video stories are planned for a later release. Join the waitlist to hear when the first stories are available.
How are picture stories different from video stories?
Picture stories use illustrated pages, narration, gentle motion, and optional interactions. Video stories use moving video scenes with voices, music, and captions. Picture stories form our free collection; video stories are planned for premium access.
Can my child become the character in a story?
We're developing parent-controlled personalization for eligible picture stories. The plan is for parents to add a private photo, preview illustrated results, and choose whether to use them. This page shows a fictional illustrative example. Personalization is planned for picture stories only, never video stories.
What parental controls are planned?
We're designing ways for parents to choose stories and languages, pause or replay, control sound, and use quiet reading. Recording a story question will require an explicit action. A parent dashboard for child profiles and reading progress is in development.
Will there be stories in Hindi and Urdu?
We are preparing English, Hindi, and Urdu support, including native-script captions and character voices. Language availability will vary by story and release.
Will it work on a phone or tablet?
We're designing the story reader for web browsers on phones, tablets, and computers. This preview website already works across those screen sizes.
How much will the stories cost?
We plan to offer free picture stories and premium video stories. Pricing and checkout have not launched, and this website does not take payments. We'll explain any personalization pricing before that feature launches.
